Data controller
The controller of the personal data processed on this Website is Chronox Software, ul. Miodowa 5, 41-940 Piekary Śląskie, Poland (NIP 4980280966, REGON 543704440), hereinafter the 'Controller'. The Controller may be contacted at contact@chronoxsoftware.com.
Scope of processing
By submitting an inquiry through the contact form, the User provides his or her first and last name, email address and the content of the message. In connection with the provision of the Website, technical data generated in the course of the connection, including the IP address, is processed by the hosting provider, Cloudflare, for the purpose of serving content and safeguarding the operation of the service.
Purpose and legal basis
The data provided via the contact form is processed for the sole purpose of responding to the User's inquiry, namely to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The data is not used for marketing or profiling purposes and is not made available to third parties for advertising.
Processors
The operation of the Website involves processors acting on the Controller's instructions: Cloudflare, which hosts the Website and operates the form-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile), and Zoho, which delivers messages to the Controller's mailbox via Zoho Mail. Processors handle personal data exclusively on the Controller's behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
Retention period
Personal data is stored until the matter is resolved and, in any event, no longer than 5 years from the User's last contact, unless a longer retention period is mandated by applicable law, including accounting or tax provisions.
Data subject rights
The data subject is entitled to request access to, rectification or erasure of his or her personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to the portability of the data. These rights may be exercised by emailing contact@chronoxsoftware.com. A complaint may be lodged with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
Cookies and local storage
The Website does not set cookies of its own. Three configuration preferences are stored in the browser's local storage: the colour theme, the display language and a one-time flag recording that the navigation scroll hint has been shown. An exception is the protection cookie set by Cloudflare upon operation of the contact form's security check, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the form. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy.

Cookies and local storage
The Website does not set cookies of its own. It stores three configuration preferences in the browser's local storage: the theme (dark or light), the display language (EN or PL) and a one-time flag indicating that the mobile-navigation hint has been displayed. None of these entries contains personal data, and none is transmitted outside the User's browser.
Third-party services
Fonts are served exclusively from the Website's own server and are not loaded from third-party sources. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by a third party. Turnstile is invoked only upon opening the contact section and issues a single request to Cloudflare for the purpose of preventing automated abuse of the form. It does not track the User across websites.
Absence of a consent mechanism
The Cloudflare protection cookie serves the purpose of ensuring the proper functioning of the form, which makes it necessary rather than optional, and which is why no consent mechanism is employed. The three local-storage preferences contain no personal data and therefore do not require consent. All entries are removed when the User clears the Website's local storage in their browser.
